Thanks for such a wonderful stay at Horathapola. The entire staff is attentive and delightful. Our verandah was a paradise where we ate delicious meals, read books and relaxed. Especially enjoyed birdwatching in the comfort of rocking chairs and shade.

This is our sixth time in Sri Lanka and we have stayed at Horathapola several times. In all our visits from north to south, east to west you will struggle to find a better place. Staff, food, surroundings – all just perfect! I’m sure we will retutn.

A great start to our Sri Lankan experience. Isuru was a magnificent host, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the food very much and watching the chef in the kitchen was delightful. Horathapola is a very special place, sitting under the frangipani tree and listening to the birds singing away was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Such a fabulous first night stay in Sri Lanka. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recharged with magnificent service from Raj and the team. The food was sumptuous and my vegetarian diet catered far in abundance. We wish we were staying longer. A real place of paradise.

I came with my grandchildren and it was the perfect choice to bring them here. A very lovely place, great staff and best place to forget the city noises and crowds of people. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool too. Five nights were not enough. Kids enjoyed the bullock cart ride and the village walk as well as the market on Saturday. Wonderful food and very comfortable beds/ thank for creating and maintaining such a lovely hidden gem.
